Building Connections Across Danville

Jesse Howard is Danville Community School Corporation’s College and Career Readiness Coordinator. He and his family have called Hendricks County home for more than 10 years, and his connection to Danville students extends beyond his role: he also coaches with the Danville football program.

Before joining Danville, Jesse worked with Electric Plus, where he partnered with local organizations and saw how strong relationships between employers, schools, and communities can benefit everyone.

Jesse’s work will expand career exploration and Work-Based Learning for Danville students. Career speakers, company tours, job shadows, internships, classroom partnerships, and mentorships can help students connect what they learn in school to careers in the community.

He will also listen to local employers to understand workforce needs and the skills they value. Those conversations can help prepare students while creating stronger talent pipelines for the community.
